Crestchic’s Global Website

World leader in specialised loadbank manufacturing and testing solutions, Crestchic is set to strengthen local service and support to its Asia Pacific market following a recent global rebrand.
Following parent company Northbridge Industrial Services plc’s recent acquisition of Crestchic (Asia Pacific) PTE Ltd (“CAP”), it has also renamed its Northbridge division in the region to align and strengthen the brand. All of the Asia Pacific companies will now be known as Crestchic Asia Pacific to clarify the organisation’s unified position to its customers.
This has also enhanced its existing loadbank capability in the Far East and Australasia.
With loadbanks becoming increasingly important in the marine industry due to modern sea vessels involving complex propulsion and other on board systems, Singapore-based Crestchic Asia Pacific is ideally placed to ensure the availability of reliable testing of power supplies.
Additionally, the Singapore marine industry has seen significant growth over the last 40 years, and is now one of the world’s premier ship repair and ship conversion centres generating a turnover of close to $10 billion, as well as a global leader in the building of jack-up rigs and the conversion of FPSO (Floating Production Storage and Offloading) units.
Crestchic also has a strong presence in Europe, the Middle East and the USA, enabling it to provide the local service and support demanded by customers.
Crestchic has heavily invested in its global identity, including establishing one central website: www.crestchic.com. The new site distinguishes the various areas of the business for international customers, as well as offering more visibility and confidence in the wider strength of the company.
Adrian Yap of Crestchic Asia Pacific said: “Crestchic has come a long way since its humble beginnings in Burton-On-Trent in the UK over 30 years ago. Following a number of significant investments, we felt now was the time to bring all the different areas of the business together and give them a sense of belonging under a global brand. We are delighted to see Crestchic Asia Pacific in the family as it represents a further step in the strategic growth and development of the brand. We have been hoping to align with CAP for a considerable time and the outcome is an important development, significantly increasing our presence in the all-important Asia Pacific market.”
Crestchic loadbanks are primarily sold and rented to customers operating in the oil and gas, marine, data centre and power generation sectors. Principally, they are used for testing electrical power output on diesel generators, gas turbines and UPS systems, whilst commissioning and maintenance work is carried out.
