Crestchic Loadbanks, a global leader in load testing solutions, has announced the acquisition of the loadbanks rental division of Gulf Incon International. The deal expands Crestchic’s coverage in the UAE, doubling the number of employees in the region, and giving the company a stronger foothold in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The acquisition comes at a time when demand for loadbanks continues to rise, particularly from the data centre sector. The UAE has witnessed rapid growth in data centre development, driven by digital transformation, cloud computing, the demanding computational requirements of AI, and increased investment from hyperscale providers. Crestchic’s latest acquisition will allow the business to meet increased demand for power testing solutions – in particular, the server emulators required to heat load test server halls.
As part of the acquisition, loadbank assets and team members will be relocated to Crestchic UAE’s headquarters in Jebel Ali, where they will be integrated into the company’s existing operations, this will double the size of the existing team.
